Meet FRÉ Ambassador Amy Bailey, Twin Mom & CEO of Happy Healthy Humble

    @happyhealthyhumble

About me: I grew up in the Midwest and currently live in Colorado. I strive to live every day to the fullest and find the blessings in each moment. I’m energetic, positive and on a mission to help others live a happier lifestyle.

"Having my daughters truly makes us appreciate every day with them because we’ve created these two incredible new lives."

    Becoming a twin mom

My girls were born on January 30th and it was the happiest day of my life. The pregnancy was difficult to say the least; although we felt so excited and blessed, I had all the usual pregnancy symptoms plus was considered high risk. At 31 weeks I was put on bed rest for two weeks with preeclampsia and Paisley + Berkley made their appearance at 33 weeks and 4 days. The twins spent 45 + 46 days in the NICU and they are still on oxygen because of the high altitude where we live. We count our blessings that we were able to bring the girls home just before everything changed with the pandemic. Having my daughters truly makes us appreciate every day with them because we’ve created these two incredible new lives.

    My fitness journey

I was always athletic and played soccer my whole childhood. In college I wanted to maintain my healthy lifestyle but no longer had the sport to help keep myself in shape. Unfortunately, I had no idea what that healthy lifestyle should look like so I would run countless miles on the treadmill and then binge eat my cravings. It started to become an unhealthy cycle and I began to obsess over what I was eating and how many hours I needed to put into the treadmill. Then I got involved with Beachbody, which freed me from the obsession and taught me balance. I now enjoy my food to fuel my body while still having treats time to time. Being able to get an effective workout in in 30 minutes is absolutely ideal for my busy life.

Your mindset is everything! I use personal development to help keep my mindset positive and strong.

    Founding Happy Healthy Humble

I started Happy Healthy Humble for my own health; I needed my mindset to change. Then, when I realized how incredible this lifestyle was, I knew I needed to help my friends and family feel as good as I did. So it turned into a movement of people striving for a happier and healthier lifestyle. When I started the business, I was a kindergarten teacher and photographer! I loved both roles, but truly found my passion and purpose with becoming a full time health coach.

    My daily routine

Before having twins, I would wake up early and lead a workout group of 50-100 women who workout together globally via Zoom each morning. After my workout I read personal development and do some gratitude journaling, followed by prayer and meditation. Throughout the day I run accountability groups to encourage and support women who have committed to reaching their health and wellness goals. The rest of the day would be filled with training calls with my clients, group calls and team calls.

    My healthy lifestyle tips

    1. One of my biggest tips for nutrition is staying committed to a meal plan! It’s important to meal prep as much as possible for your week. When you have a plan in place it's more likely you will stick to it. Having fruit and vegetables cleaned and cut up really helps. It does take time to prep, but it’s worth it.
    2. For fitness I find that checking in, having accountability and a sisterhood is often the key to staying motivated to reach your goals.
    3. Your mindset is everything! I use personal development to help keep my mindset positive and strong. My favorite three book are:

Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis

Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo

Fear Is My Homeboy by Judi Holler

    My skincare challenges

I have always struggled with my skin. I used to have oily skin in high school and I’ve always been acne prone on my forehead and chin. When I was pregnant, I began suffering from cystic acne. My whole face would throb and there truly was no relief. Right now my skin is not perfect but it has definitely improved. I love FRÉ because of how pure and clean it is, and I connect to the values behind it.

Before I found FRÉ I used to use products with harsh chemicals. I thought they would treat my acne but nothing helped. It was actually nerve wracking when FRÉ reached out and I really thought the products wouldn’t work for me. I’ve been using FRÉ every night for about 4 months now and I love how my skin feels, and looks, and glows! My favorite FRÉ is DETOX ME. When the girls are sleeping, I have a bubble bath and put it on. I used to feel that face masks dried my skin out but DETOX ME is wonderful. I also use PURIFY ME and REVIVE ME before bed, and any time I go out I apply PROTECT ME.

    Rapid Fire:

      • Favorite exercise? LIIFT4 which is a weight training program
      • What does sweat mean to you? Moving my body and earning free endorphins
      • What comes to mind when you think of FRÉ? Pure
      • What are you most excited about in life right now? Being a mom
      • What’s something you’d still love to learn? Learning to be my best self while going through different “seasons” in life. I’ve gone from being married, to single, to married, to pregnant, to being a Mom with twins and each has had its own important lessons.
      • If you were a hashtag, what would you be? #liveinthemoment
      • Who do you admire the most? My Mom, she’s my best friend, we have an incredible relationship and I learned so much from her
      • What is your mantra? Strive to live the happiest and healthiest way you know how
      • What’s the best advice that you’ve ever received? Never be afraid of failure, it means you are pushing past your comfort levels and it’s the only way you will grow in life
      • What is an issue that you wish we spoke about more often? Mental health needs: this should be discussed more, supported more, and be less of a taboo
      • What does women’s empowerment in 2020 mean? Women having their own voice and feeling empowered to follow their heart. For me this meant going from a secure full time job to a network marketing position and a lot of people were shocked by the move
      • What’s one skincare tip you swear by? Wash your face every single night! You have to do it!
